Twice a year Sephora is kind enough to finally grace us with the sales we all deserve. If you are unfamiliar, a Beauty Insider/VIB/VIB Rouge can shop most products sold at Sephora for about a week and use a coupon code to save money! I have not spent much at Sephora this year and trying to monitor all my beauty spending, but this Holiday sale is speaking to me. I’m going to break down my picks for the Sephora VIB sale 2021 and include some first impressions!
Skincare // Sephora VIB Sale
Honestly, I get sent a lot of skincare. And when I am making skincare purchases they are rarely done at Sephora. But, since I am a VIB Rouge and can use a 20% off coupon…I figured it was a better time than ever to splurge on some products on my re-buy list.
*If you are not a Rouge and getting the 10-15% deal, remember a lot of skincare brands do sales around the Holiday season on their website. Often you can get that coveted 20% off outside of Sephora.
Youth To The People Vitamin C Serum, $68
I just adore the YTTP 15% Vitamin C + Clean Caffeine Energy Serum. So much so that I have purchased and finished two of the pricey bottles myself already. I don’t often spend that much on skincare, but this serum is so amazing. Check out my results using this for 30 full days:
I’m telling you this product works and it smells good, too! Check out more information on Vitamin C
Youth To The People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream, $58
Another YTTP product I am finally re buying is their Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream. I had a mini of this last year and shed a small tear when it was empty. It is absolutely perfect for colder weather and really soothes redness. I will be posting an updated full review on this moisturizer when I finish the full size!
I did an entire blog dedicated to adaptogens in skincare & why they are amazing!
Makeup // Sephora VIB Sale
Dior Lip Oil, $35
I am a serious lip oil junkie. I have to own atleast 3 at any given time. After trying so many and using them for a while, I realized that I have expensive taste. The Dior Lip Glow Oil truly is *that* girl. It is pricey, but your lips will never look juicier than when you wear this!!
Laneige Lip Glowy Balm, $17
If I want something a bit more subtle but still glossy, I reach for the Laneige Lip Glowy Balms. I have gone through 3 tubes of these and can’t get enough. They come in a range of scents but the gummy bear the best in my opinion.
Dior Backstage Face + Body Foundation, $40
I have been using the Fenty Skin Tint for months now and it is definitely getting close to empty. I figured now is a better time than ever to replenish my foundation, but I am honestly dying to try something new. The dior foundation has been on my Sephora wishlist for probably over a year.
Keep reading to watch my first impressions application video!
Dior Backstage Face + Body Powder, $40
When it comes to face powder, I don’t have expensive taste. I am currently using the Maybelline Fit Me and enjoying it. But if I am getting the liquid foundation, I gotta get the powder to match right?!
Dior Backstage Face + Body Foundation Application
At first, I was sure I had gotten the wrong shade. I should have opted for shade 0N, but got 1N instead. It is much darker than expected. After blending everything out and adding my concealer, I think the shade actually matches nicely. I really loved how the foundation felt like nothing on the skin and the powder was buildable without feeling heavy. I wore it for about 6 hours and it did not smudge hardly at all. My skin looked so natural and not cakey. I will be uploading a full review of this duo soon- but the first impressions are overwhelmingly positive!
Nudestix Brow Boost and Set Gel XL, $28
When it comes to a must buy sephora sale item…this is truly it. I am kind of floored that this product does not have 1,000 5 star reviews because it is the best brow gel I have ever used. I originally purchased it after hearing Kathleen Lights on Youtube rave about it (and her brows are seriously goals). I just finished my first tube of this and I love how fluffy it makes my brows. And they don’t budge all day long!
Body Care & More // Sephora Sale 2021
Fenty Skin Glycerin Hand Mask, $22
I have had my ups and downs with Fenty Skin as a whole. Their new releases of body care have peaked my interest once again though. The Hydra’Reset Intensive Recovery Glycerin Hand Mask sounds like a dream for Winter time. My hands get so dry and I always use my trusty Eucerin hand cream with Cerave Healing Ointment- but a hand mask sounds like a nice change of pace for when my hands are really screaming for moisture.
The key ingredients include glycerin, panthenol, sorrel & kalahari melon oils. At first it felt so similar to my Cerave healing ointment in that it was thick and a bit sticky. But once it sinks in after a few minutes my hands were left feeling very soft and hydrated. This is a before bed hand mask, so waking up the next morning my hands were feeling great! I enjoyed it and will continue to use throughout the Winter time.
Kitsch Towel Scrunchies, $18
I absolutely LOATHE blow drying my hair. I shower at night time so I can’t exactly go to bed with my hair soaking through the pillow. I typically air dry it a few hours before bed, or I will blow dry it 75% of the way. Sometimes I just want to throw it up in a bun and let it dry that way when I’m really not feeling it. I purchased the Kitsch Microfiber Towel Scrunchies because, why not?
After using them once, I think they are super cute and fun. A great way to quickly throw your hair up while it is wet and cuts down on dry time. For the price, I think it is worth picking up. It comes in a waterproof bag to store them if you want to use them while traveling or at the pool.
Sephora VIB Sale Wrap-Up
No one needs to buy anything during the Sephora sale, but it is also a great opportunity to purchase things on your wishlist or buy gifts for your friends and family. If you are wanting to purchase from brands that are never on sale- Dior, Dyson, Perfume/Cologne, etc. then definitely check out what the Sephora holiday sale has to offer.
