2021 Skincare Favorites & Why You Need Them

I try A LOT of skincare products. But, that doesn’t mean I don’t still have a running list of my skincare favorites. For it to make my coveted favorites list, it must be a product I thoroughly enjoy, have repurchased or plan on doing so, and it stays in my daily rotation for a long time. So, let’s check out some of the best skincare of 2021 (IMO) and maybe influence you on your next shopping trip!

Cleansers

Cerave Hydrating Cream to Foam Cleanser, Recently, I have loved just keeping it simple with my cleansers. I don’t always use a facial cleanser in the morning but this one works great AM + PM. It is my favorite cleanser formula from Cerave!

The Inkey List Fulvic Acid Brightening Cleanser, An amazing, affordable cleanser option that all skin types will enjoy. It is a gel texture that gently foams and gives the skin a fresh and brightening effect.

Face Masks

107 Squalane Cuddle Sheet Mask, This mask is so calming and hydrating, soaked with serum- so you really get your money’s worth. It uses 107 Beauty’s signature ingredient of 7 year aged vinegar. So interesting!

A’Pieu Milk One Pack Sheet Mask, This is another super soaked sheet mask that really hydrates, and I love the benefits I get from using it. My skin always looks so bright and feels incredibly smooth after. They offer plenty of different “milk” options to choose from, too.

Serums/Exfoliants

The Inkey List Polyglutamic Acid, I admit that I was pretty skeptical about this serum, but it really has become a stand out in my routine. I eventually want to do a blog alllll about polyglutamic acid…but for now, just three words: hydrating, smoothing, plumping!

Youth to the People 15% Vitamin C + Clean Caffeine Energy Serum, Possibly my favorite Vitamin C serum of all time. I emptied two of these pricey serums and definitely plan on repurchasing. I loved the results it gave me and enjoyed using it every morning. New to Vitamin C? Read this blog for all the info!

Glow Recipe Avocado Ceramide Recovery Serum, I am all about a barrier repair serum. They are one of my favorite products to have on hand! I truly believe this is one of the best skincare products of 2021 because I can’t stop thinking about how I need to buy another.

Youth to the People Mandelic Acid + Superfood Unity Exfoliant, Although this is a newer toner in my routine, I already know I love it! It gave me quick results of smoother, brighter and clearer skin. I love the combination of active ingredients- but it is gentle enough for most skin types to use.

Eye Cream

The Saem Iceland Hydrating Eye Stick, I love placing this eye stick in my skincare fridge and using this for puffiness in the morning and night. If you like a simple, quick eye product- this is for you.

The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Cream, I truly did not believe the hype with this one for far too long. It is such a nice gel cream texture that feels hydrating but also refreshing. It is the perfect affordable option, too!

Moisturizers & SPFs

Aveeno Oat Gel Moisturizer, You already know I reviewed the entire Aveeno Calm + Restore line on my last blog…I am still obsessing over this gel cream. Such a fabulous formula!

INN Beauty Next Level Moisturizer, OMG this is the perfect moisturizer for glowy skin. I love how hydrating and fresh it makes my skin look. Definitely recommend this for combo and dry skin types.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra Light Fluid Sunscreen SPF 60, I am still loving this sunscreen for every day use. I think all skin tones and types would really enjoy this formula! Check out my blog comparing 3 popular la roche-posay sunscreens here

Garnier Canna-B Pore Perfecting Serum Cream SPF 30, Another one of my favorite sunscreen finds from this year. It doubles as a moisturizer and sunscreen in one for a quick morning routine. It also is one of the best products for glowing skin!

Facial Oils & Mists

Herbal Dynamics Beauty Revitage Replenishing Squalane and Argan Oil Serum, This oil is such a luxurious blend of so many potent oils: squalane, myrrh, tiare, avocado, grape seed, and argan! It is a great hydrating, anti-aging facial oil that layers beautifully at night time with your skincare routine.

Jordan Samuel Skin Hydrate the Mist, I do not believe that a facial mist is essential to anyone’s routine (check out the actual essentials here), but they really can amp it up. This facial mist is unlike any other… it gives me the most glowing skin ever and very, very hydrating.

Current Skincare Faves Wrap-up

I could probably go on and on about quite a few more favorites, but these truly are stand-outs in my skincare routine. I love when I finally find an amazing, forever gem for my skin. Especially since there are so many products flooding the market at all times, it can be overwhelming to find your perfect products. Hopefully you recognize these and enjoy them just as much as me!
