Makeup and Skin Care Wish List

So for this week’s post, we are essentially making my dream shopping list. With Instagram and Youtube, I am always up to date with new product launches for makeup and skin care, but I rarely am able to purchase them when they come out. I mean I would seriously need to be a millionaire to purchase every new product launch since brands are coming out with new items every day! There are some items that when I see them I KNOW that I have to buy them one day. So here it goes, my wish list for makeup and skin care…(slightly trimmed down)

s2181006-main-zoom.jpg Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream ($68 1.7 oz)

I have used a few Tatcha skin care items and they all totally live up to expectations. Although it holds a hefty price tag, it is true with this brand that you get what you pay for. My hopes for this product is that it is like the luminous dewy skin mist but in moisturizer form! What could be better?

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation ($39 1 oz)

I really have no excuses for not already owning this foundation. It has been out for quite a while now, but for some reason I just have not picked it up. I have heard it is very skin like and many of my favorite Youtubers use this in their every day routine.

Okay hear me out. I know the price is CRAZY. But this brand is so intriguing to me. A few beauty gurus rave about this, but it may simply be the placebo effect of the price making it seem like a miracle worker. I just want to know!

Kiehl’s Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner ($16 8.4 oz)

This product really has been on my wish list forever. I enjoy Kiehl’s as a brand and have used their body cream, face oil and eye cream before and been pleased. I was not a fan of their face moisturizer, but I think that is because my skin was not right for it. I like that this toner is gentle and natural.

Elf Poreless Putty Primer ($8 0.74 oz)

Ever since I saw Jeffree Star’s review of this product on Youtube, I knew I wanted to add it to my collection. Primers are definitely one of those steps that I skip because I can never find one that makes a huge difference. But with this price tag and reviews online, I think it is totally worth trying.

KKW Beauty Brightening Powder ($18 0.123 oz)

I have not tried any of Kim Kardashian’s makeup yet, but I heard awesome reviews about these little powders. I used to always use a banana powder over my concealer, but recently it hasn’t been a part of my routine. I think this may inspire me to do that again.

Beauty Bakerie Lip Whip Gloss ($20 0.12 oz)

I think that this brand has one of the cutest packaging and marketing out of any other brands I have seen! I am interested in trying many of their products, but these glosses just grab me. I love a good gloss on any day of the week.

Algenist GENIUS Liquid Collagen ($115 1 oz)

I remember when Sephora had this in a gift set, and it was an amazing deal. I had it in my cart but did not end up purchasing. I am still regretting that decision, because this stuff has amazing reviews! Liquid Collagen? Yes please.

Pat Mcgrath MTHRSHP Subversive La Vie En Rose Eyeshadow Palette ($55)

The only item from Pat Mcgrath I have tried is her matte lipsticks. It is incredible. Ever since then, I have been dying to try her eyeshadows. This is one of her many smaller palettes that are more affordable compared to her bigger 10 pan palettes. I love the color scheme of this one!

Let’s be honest, I could definitely keep going. But I will stop for now! Hopefully I am able to add some of these products to my collection soon, or I will decide against them for good reason. Have any of you tried some of these makeup and skin care items? How did you like them?
