Which is the Best?? La Roche-Posay Sunscreen Review

You know when you have a product on your wishlist for so long you actually just keep forgetting to buy it? La Roche-Posay already makes some of my favorite cleansers and moisturizers, but for some reason I just haven’t picked up any of the sunscreens…until now. I got three different formulas to test and help you find the best la roche-posay sunscreen for your skin type!

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Light Fluid Sunscreen SPF 60, 1.7 fl oz $30.99

With thousands of 5 star reviews online, I can see why this one is so popular. It is quite unique and the finish is unlike your typical sunscreen!

UV Filters: Chemical only – Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octisalate, Octocrylene

Finish: Natural, soft finish

Wearability: Water resistant 80 minutes, lasts throughout day in the heat/sweat, reapplies well with no pilling, no eye stinging

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Tinted Mineral Light Fluid Sunscreen SPF 50, 1.7 fl oz $36.99

Another LRP sunscreen that has thousands of positive reviews. Have you tried this one yet??

UV Filters: Physical – Titanium Dioxide

Finish: Glowy and dewy

Wearability: Water resistant 40 minutes, tends to melt off if I don’t set with powder (I have normal/oily skin), hard to reapply because of the tint but does work as a replacement for foundation

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Clear Skin Sunscreen SPF 60, 1.7 fl oz $19.99

A matte sunscreen option is really hard to come by. I was so excited to test this one out for all my oily skin people out there.

UV Filters: Chemical only – Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octisalate, Octocrylene

Finish: Matte and dries down quickly

Wearability: Water resistant 80 minutes, lasts throughout the day in the heat/sweat, pills upon reapplication, I did not experience eye stinging but there was a slight burning on face when first applied. It did go away after a minute and my skin did not have any irritation.

Price Comparisons

La Roche-Posay is a brand that you can purchase at Walgreens, Target, Ulta, and online. As you can see with the price of these, they are all on the higher end of drug store. But for the quality of their products, I think the prices really make sense! I doubt you want to buy all three- no shame if you do, fellow skincare junkie. But if you are looking for the perfect option, which of these is worth buying?

*WINNER- Anthelios Light Fluid Ultra Light SPF 60

This sunscreen will work the best for the all skin types on most days. I have tested it with several different moisturizers and serums underneath and it just works with basically anything underneath! You do run through this relatively fast because of the liquidy consistency, but it is still definitely comparable to my other sunscreens based on size.

La Roche-Posay Sunscreen Review Wrap-Up

You can refer to my quick chart above for a snapshot comparison between these La Roche-Posay Anthelios sunscreens. Although they are very different, I honestly enjoy them all for different reasons! Hopefully now you can now choose the right one for you and your skin. Thanks so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed the demos 🙂
